The United Democratic Movement Women’s Organisation (UDEMWO) expresses its deepest condolences to the family, friends, colleagues and party of the late National Freedom Party Founding President, Ms Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi.
South Africa has lost one of its inspirational leaders, who walked where most would not have dared and, in a time, when it was not fashionable to see a woman in a high leadership position. She was a strong and fierce woman.
She left her footprints on women leadership when she founded her own party and left a visible mark in KwaZulu-Natal when she was the Mayor of the Zululand District Municipality and ascended to Parliament.
UDEMWO will remember this powerhouse; this fearless lioness for her extraordinary way and we commit ourselves to take the baton and lead from the front as Ms Mama Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi had done.
We will keep her family in our prayers during these trying times.
