The United Democratic Movement Women’s Organisation (UDEMWO) is waiting in anticipation as things unfold , as Mr Jacob Zuma’s day in court has finally arrived. We have been waiting for this day for so long and it has finally come. It is a dream come true for many South Africans.
It is true that no one is above the law. Mr Zuma, like many others who have done the country wrong, will finally have a chance to defend himself. For many years, the country waited for such a day after the National Prosecuting Authority dropped all the charges against Zuma. It was a shameful day for the country but today we see a turn of tables.
Those who violated and use power should be brought to book and face the consequences of their wrong-doing.
