The United Democratic Movement (UDM) recently sought leave to amend its plea at the Gauteng High Court and asked to use the Commission of inquiry into allegations of impropriety regarding Public Investment Corporation’s (the Mpati Commission) findings to be used in court if Harith et al still have an appetite to sue the UDM and myself for defamation.
Today that leave to amend the UDM’s plea has been granted and the respondent is to pay the costs of the application, including costs for two counsel.
