UDM reacts to the appointment of Mthandazo Ntlemeza as new head of the Hawks

Statement issued  by Bongani Msomi – UDM Secretary General

The United Democratic Movement (UDM) welcomes the appointment of Mthandazo Berning Ntlemeza as the new head of Hawks. It remains to been seen whether the statement made by the Pretoria High Court Judge, Elias Matojane, who earlier this year found him as a liar and dishonest person was untrue and baseless.

We hope that Ntlemeza is not blowing his own horn and start to deliver. It is up to him to prove that what were said by the Judge were just comments as Minister Nathi Nhleko has said in defending his appointment.

We also hope that this is not another cadre deployment.
