It is with great sorrow that the United Democratic Movement announces that our Deputy National Chairperson and Member of the Provincial Legislature in the Eastern Cape, Mr Mncedisi Filtane, has passed away due to Covid-19.
He was admitted to hospital on Friday with low oxygen levels and died early on the morning of Sunday, 22 November 2020.
We have lost a gentleman and a father.
We at this time extend our sympathies to his wife, children and family as we gather them in our thoughts and prayers.
