The United Democratic Movement (UDM) has noted the content of the report of the Section 89 Independent Panel released tonight on the Phala Phala Farmgate, in particular the recommendations of the Panel.
There is no further need for Parliament to interrogate the matter given the recommendations of the Panel. The balance of probabilities is sufficient; nothing more needs to be proved.
President Ramaphosa would be well advised to leave his office without any further prompting.
South Africa cannot afford another scenario where the nation and the world is focussed on the misdeeds of our president.
We cannot afford to have a president in office facing these serious indictments.
The African National Congress must recall their deployee and the law enforcement agencies must follow up on the recommendations of the Panel.
