South Africa mourns the loss of a promising talent whose career was cut short far too soon. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
The circumstances surrounding Luke’s death, as a result of a hijacking incident, are deeply troubling. It is a stark reminder of the pervasive issue of crime and lawlessness that threatens the safety and security of all South Africans.
In light of this tragic event, the United Democratic Movement extends its heartfelt condolences to Kaizer Chiefs and, above all, to the grieving family and friends of Luke Fleurs. May his soul rest in peace.
